This page lists the "Mystery Objects" in my collection. Objects of unknown Potteries.
There have been many potteries in Holland producing plateel. New potteries often appeared in fast succession, especially a few years after WWII when times gradually became more prosperous again. Some of the smaller potteries remained relatively or even entirely unknown since company archives often failed to survive the times. It was not until the second half of the 20th century when various researchers tried to uncover many still unknown facts of the numerous plateel producers. Therefore there are still many back stamps which remain a mystery until today. The one and only item listed on this page has such a mysterious back stamp. I would be grateful if anyone could shed some light on the origin of this pottery.
