Although founded in 1898, Regina did not start to produce plateel until 1915. The Company was successful in making clay-pipes as well as plateel and it was one of the longest surviving factories. It even outlived the PZH which had to shut its doors in 1964.
Regina kept going until 1979 before it had to 'give in' to the changing demands of the public.
