Mould number 249. The pattern name, Tibon is indicated to the left of the logo "WB" (G.F. van der Want and G.A. Barras), designed by Jan Signer and named after Tinie Gibbon, one of his female colleagues.
The letter "G" at the bottom may indicate that it was actually decorated by Tinie Gibbon, however, this has not been verified. Unfortunately, this item was sold in 2001. (The above information was gratefully received from Jo Kruithof (Australia), the new owner of the vase.) |
